  • Dr. Bryan C. Gooding - Our Veterinarian

Dr. Bryan Gooding, our veterinarian, is a native of North Carolina. He was exposed to veterinary medicine at a young age as he sometimes accompanied his father to work at a veterinary hospital. One day this veterinarian invited Dr. Gooding into the surgery room to observe him perform a C-section on one of his patients. This generous veterinarian then donated one of the puppies to Dr. Gooding. Perhaps, these early experiences along with his interest in science and medicine influenced Dr. Gooding's decision to become a veterinarian. Dr. Gooding went on to earn  a bachelor's degree in biology at Fayetteville State University, a master's degree in biology at Hampton University, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gooding later earned a master's of public health  degree in public health leadership and is board certified in public health. He has been in private veterinary practice for almost 22 years and he still strives to provide the best possible care to each and every patient. Dr. Gooding is active in community service and mentoring students. He is married to Mrs. Leola Gooding and they have one daughter who is in college and 3 adopted cats.
